Members of a community group praying together

We believe that Community Groups are vital to one's spiritual health and growth.

Community Groups provide an opportunity to experience and foster an authentic Gospel community, where practical demonstrations of Gospel love, generosity, service, accountability, and healthy dialogue are embraced in the context of everyday life. If you would like to plug into the life of the church, Community Groups are an excellent starting point.

Fellowship Through Community Groups

Sunday Worship Services at Metro consist of the visible “body” of the church. Although Sunday Worship Services foster a culture of Christ-centered worship, Community Groups empower the believer’s Christ-enabled response. Joining any new community can be daunting, but one feels more connected to a new church body when they begin to adopt the values of the church through fellowship and partnership.
Each Community Group is comprised of 6-12 people. Community Groups meet for 2.5 hours hours weekly on average. Metro’s Community Groups are led by leaders in the church, who receive training and regular support from the pastoral staff and leadership.
