FAQs

Answers to Common Questions

Are there prerequisites for taking the classes?
No, these classes are designed for any adult at Metro desiring to understand the foundational pillars of our church.
Can you take classes simultaneously?
Absolutely, feel free to take as many classes that fit into your personal schedule.
Why do some classes require a registration fee?
We request a small fee per person to cover administrative and preparatory costs, materials for the facilitator(s), and small honorariums for our "faculty" who lead each session; paying a fee also further challenges the registrant to remain engaged throughout the course.
Where will the classes take place?
We will offer them either in-person at our East Falls church location, or virtually through interactive livestream.
I desire to take a class, but may not be able to to attend all of the scheduled sessions. May I still participate?
Yes, you can attend the classes you are able to attend, and receive guidance toward makeup sessions or reviews for any classes or material you may have missed.
How will I be notified of the virtual sessions?
After you register, the facilitator(s) will reach out to you via email with confirmed times and links for the interactive virtual sessions.
What if I cannot pay for a given class?
Please do not let finances prevent you from participating; email registration@metrophilly.org, and we will provide a way for you to audit the course.
